Obama Overthrowing the Church: The Vortex

I thought yesterday's (3/5) "Vortex" was so good that I would make it available here, along with the script. You can also access it here, and find out how to subscribe to "The Vortex" and become a premium subscriber to RealCatholicTV.

Hello everyone, and welcome to The Vortex where lies and falsehoods are trapped and exposed. I’m Michael Voris.

Back in the early middle ages, they coined a word for rulers like Obama who tried to take control of the Church. The word is “Caesaropapism”. It means that the State exercises control over the Church, as in Caesar over the Pope, to use symbols from antiquity.

Let's definitely
hope for a change!
But there is a new twist Obama has given to this. In Medieval Days, rulers wanted control of the Church so they could use it as a means of control to expand their influence universally.

They understood that the moral authority of the Church could be for them a powerful weapon in bringing stability to their realm.

Today, it’s a different story. The moral authority of the Church has been so sacrificed on the altar of political correctness, that there really is none to speak of in any meaningful manner. So instead of seeing the Church as a weapon to be subverted, Obama simply wants the Church extinguished.

We said nearly three years ago in this VERY program that Obama would do this. He has an ideology that is rooted in a twisted and perverse notion of the nature of man – an evil notion- and he means to employ that ideology, and he’ll have no opposition. That means the Church has to go – or at least be so marginalized that it may as well be non-existent.

But Obama isn’t alone in his diabolical efforts – and yes, they are diabolical. He has accomplices everywhere who share his same view of a world without God, where morality is determined by personal feelings and tolerance, and acceptance is extended to everything EXCEPT Truth.

This is, in the end, what the entire election turns on: the issue of the view of Man - his nature, his Ultimate End, and his moral choices. Forget about unemployment rates and gas prices and the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Forget about the quintessential American Political Question: “Are you better off than you were four years ago?” Instead, ask yourself this question: Do you believe that a Loving God created you, desires that you spend eternity with Him and has given you a
free will to choose or reject Him which you exercise in relation to objective morality?

THAT is what this campaign is all about. Nothing else. If a nation chooses the good, all other matters fall into place, just like they do in personal lives. If, however, a nation chooses the bad, then it sets it foot on the short road to chaos.

So the whole question revolves around the central idea of OBJECTIVE MORALITY. Do you believe that there is such a thing as intrinsic good and intrinsic evil?

If you do, then your vote is nothing else than a small expression of that.

If you do not believe, then your vote is a large expression of that as you have put your trust in princes and not Our Lord.

The Great American Experiment has reached a head, as everyone knew it would.

This election is about one thing and one thing only: Will Americans choose the good or
the bad; the beginning or the end; life or death.

And if that sounds overly dramatic or apocalyptic, consider: every other world power civilization has come to this same pass eventually… and they each chose death.

GOD Love you. I’m Michael Voris.
